During this 1-hour workshop you will discover how emotions and reactions can affect parts of the body and its systems and how using the self-care routine can help you and your child manage your own physical and emotional wellbeing.
I will guide you through a self-care hand relaxation routine, giving you the time to relax and focus on your wellbeing. The routine uses relaxation techniques drawn from reflexology to help you become aware of your breathing and allow your body to feel calmer.
Together you will discover how areas on your hands link to parts of your body for example the balls of the hands relate to the chest/lungs. I will share 8 relaxation movements, where you will be encouraged to think about the specific body part you are working applying these 3 words SLOW, CALM and RELAX. Learning this routine together is a fab way to bond and create a calmer home environment.
